Open the AOL dialer so that you see the Welcome screen.

1. Click the Setup button.
   

   

2. Click Create Location.
   
3. In the Location field, delete New Locality.
   
4. Type APT.
   
5. In the field labeled Network on the left, click the down arrow and click TCP/IP.
   
6. Click Save.
   

   

7. Click OK.
   
8. When you want to sign on to America Online, first dial into APT using the Internet Dialer.
   
9. Once you have connected to APT, minimize the dialer window, open AOL and sign on.
