Windows95 Netscape Install Help 

  1. Download Netscape Communicator 4.04
  2. Double click on the Netscape install icon

  3. Click Yes when asked if you wish to install Netscape Communicator 4.04

  4. Click Next

  5. Click Yes

  6. Click Next (Typical setup is ok for us :)

  7. Click Yes (The directory should be ok for us :)

  8. Click Install

  9. Netcape will begin to install...

  10. Click No (unless you wish to read the README file...)

  11. Click OK

  12. Close all your programs and click on OK to restart your computer.

  13. Once your computer reboots you should click on the Netscape Navigator Icon

  14. Netcape will now ask you for some information.
  15. Click Next

  16. Enter your full name where it asks for Full Name
  17. Enter your Email address.
  18. Click Next.

  19. Click Next.

  20. Enter your name
  21. Enter your email address
  22. For Outgoing mail (SMTP) server type mail.apt.net
  23. Click Next

  24. For mail server user name type in your userid.
  25. For Incoming Mail Server type in mail.apt.net
  26. For Mail Server type select POP3
  27. Click Next

  28. For News (NNTP) Server type in news.apt.net
  29. Click Next

  30. Click Yes or No (Yes recommended unless you also use another browser)
  31. Congratulations you've just installed and configured Netscape Communicator 4.04
